Employees of LIN SB RAS received prestigious awards of Irkutsk region

In celebration of the Russian Science Day, a ceremonial event was held at Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics SB RAS, with the participation of the Governor of Irkutsk Region, Igor Kobzev. The event was focused on the presentation of regional state awards to distinguished members of the scientific community.

The honorary title of “Honored Worker of Science and Higher Education of Irkutsk Region” was conferred upon:

• Dmitry Shcherbakov, D.Bi.Sci., Chief Researcher, LIN SB RAS.

The following employees were rewarded with gratitude of the Governor of Irkutsk Region:

• Kirilchik Sergey, Cand. Bi. Sci., Leading Researcher, LIN SB RAS
• Glyzina Olga, Cand. Bi. Sci., Leading Researcher, LIN SB RAS

Besides, a testimonial from the Governor of Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzev, was attributed to:

• Andrey Fedotov, Dr. Sci. in Geology and Mineralogy, Director of LIN SB RAS

These awards acknowledge the substantial contributions made by our scientists to the exploration of Lake Baikal`s unique ecosystem, the development of highly skilled professionals, and the enhancement of the scientific capability of Irkutsk region and Russia overall.
